Special features: Following the tradition of the steam baths of the former Ogaki domain, this style of bath uses an abundance of local medicinal herbs in a unique barrel bath, and wraps the whole body in steam made by boiling the abundant spring water of Ogaki, the water city. Inside the pitch black barrel, the only sounds are the sound of steam and sweat dripping down. Once you leave the barrel, you can relax in the bathroom or in a tatami room, and rehydrate with roasted green tea provided by the owner, a rare experience.
